Schwarzer GmbH, Medical Equipment for Diagnosis , has more than 50 years experience in the field of medical equipment for diagnosis . and has pioneered the use of electronic measurement for improved patient diagnostics in the fields of neurology, cardiology and polysomnography.

Founded in 1938 as Elektrofrequenz Fritz Schwarzer and Co., in Falkensee-Berlin, Schwarzer GmbH has been an innovative pioneer in the fields of EEG (Electro Encephalography) and ECG (Electro Cardiography) over the last 50 years, manufacturing the first commercial EEG equipment available in Germany (1946). These years have also been turbulent with regards to the various partnerships Schwarzer has survived over a period. These include partnership with such illustrious partners as American Optical (1968), Dr. T. Gooding and Cambridge Instruments (1980), Picker International / GEC Ltd. (1981 - 1986), and Madaus Medizinelektronik (1992 - 1995).
